How did A Hope Initiative come to be?

A Hope Initiative was founded in response to the war in Sudan, which erupted in April 2023. The situation in Sudan ignited a profound sense of helplessness and uncertainty. Once again, it is a neglected conflict, devastating millions of lives. Hunger, poverty, and countless other dire challenges are just some of the issues facing the population.

As children of immigrants, we were compelled to take action and establish this nonprofit organization. A Hope Initiative is our way of giving back and supporting those in need. While we understand we cannot solve the world’s conflicts, we are committed to offering hope to those affected, wherever it is most needed.
